XpZeusTool Privacy Policy

Overview

XpZeusTool is an Android companion app for XP Deus II workflows. This policy explains what data the app stores on the device, what data may be sent to Strohalm Studio support infrastructure when you use network-backed features, and how subscription checks work.

Data stored on your device

The app may store the following data locally on your device:

Data sent to Strohalm Studio servers

XpZeusTool only sends data to Strohalm Studio servers when you use features that require it, such as support tickets, diagnostics upload, version checks, user sync or Google Play subscription verification.

How server-side subscription verification works

Premium subscription status is verified against Google Play using the purchase token returned by Google Play Billing. Strohalm Studio uses this only to confirm subscription state, expiry and entitlement for XpZeusTool premium features. We do not use it to bypass Google Play billing or create off-platform subscriptions.

Google Drive backup

If you explicitly connect a Google account for backup, XpZeusTool may upload backup files to your Google Drive in a visible app backup folder. This happens only when you trigger backup features or enable backup scheduling. Your Google Drive email may also be shown in the admin support panel so support can understand which connected backup account belongs to a given installation.

Location

Location is used only for map and note-related features inside the app when you grant location permission. XpZeusTool does not claim to determine actual target depth or exact material identity from BLE data alone.

How data is used

Data sharing

Strohalm Studio does not sell personal data. Data may be processed through Google services that you explicitly use, including Google Play Billing for subscription verification and Google Drive when you choose Drive backup.

Retention and deletion

Local app data remains on your device until you remove it, clear app data or uninstall the app. Server-side support records, synced installation records and attachments may be retained for support, security and product operations. You can request deletion of support data associated with your email address, ticket details or installation context by contacting Strohalm Studio.

Advertising

XpZeusTool does not use advertising ID for ads in the app.
